Unison Advisory Group's strategy consulting services enable businesses and investors to devote their resources to environmental sustainability (often called "green") in a focused, strategic way.  We help clients identify where their efforts at going green should lead, the route to get them there and what to expect along the way.  Our services help clients use green as a catalyst for generating cost savings, revenue and market share increases, improved competitive position and increased market value.

We offer the following services:

Deciphering green -  Environmental sustainability, often also called "being green" is a multi-faceted and often confusing topic.  We use our expertise, research and benchmarking tools to help clients understand what being an environmentally sustainable business, i.e., a green business, looks like and to determine the level of resources (if any) they should allocate toward environmental sustainability.

Green best practices snapshot - Our snapshot shows where the company stands with respect to environmental sustainability best practices.  It provides a quick, easy way to benchmark a company 's performance level relative to green.

Strategy design - Clients get the best return from envirionmental sustainability when they go green in a focused, strategic way.  Our research, benchmarking, competitive analysis and experience enable us to design a strategy for environmental sustainabilty that is consistent with the client's existing business and that makes the greatest impact on performance.

Strategy deciphering - Executives are often handed an existing strategy (or potentially, what seems to be no strategy at all).  When the existing strategy is not abundantly clear, it needs to be deciphered.  We analyze the company's or investor's actions and translate those into a strategy.  This translation, enables clients to either decide to change the strategy or to identify what actions to take to implement it.

Cost savings from going green - One of the tenants of environmental sustainability is conservation.  As a result, a company's opportunities to save grow along with its commitment to environmental sustainability.  Our research, benchmarking and planning assist clients to identify and prioritize areas for cost savings.

Planning for growth in green and testing results - Our planning process and perspective assist clients to think through how they are going to become more environmentally sustainable.  We assist clients to look to the future in an organized way, establish logical goals that align with their strategy and test their ability to achieve those goals.  Our services enable clients to test their thinking on us, simulate the results on paper and make modifications to their plans before they execute, saving value time, money and other resources.

Offering new green products or services and entering new green markets - One of the wonderful things about environmental sustainability is the myriad of opportunities it presents to innovate and expand.  Our consultants have significant experience leading and supporting new product and service launches and taking existing products and services into new markets.  Our expertise helps clients get the market and product entries right the first time and fix problems that crop up along the way.

Communicating green - All the strategy work and planning in the world will not impact performance if it does not translate into action.  Consequently, we offer clients expertise in communicating their green strategy and plans to key stakeholders.  Our experience shows that the key to success is to develop and relay the same core message to customers/clients, employees, suppliers, investors and other important parties.
